Kathleen Barbara Evans, 71, a Gardnerville resident for the past year, died April 20, 2002, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1930, in Woodland, Calif., to Milne Dermot and Louise Jones Evans.
She graduated from Redlands High School and San Bernardino Junior College in California.
Mrs. Evans worked in the medical records department at Kaiser Hospital and Los Angeles County Mental Health. She was a Protestant.
Among her survivors are her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Valarie Moore of Gardnerville; daughter Kathleen Marsh of Moreno Valley, Calif.; brothers James Evans of Corona, Calif., and Jack Evans of Madera, Calif.; stepson Steve Moore of Cathedral City, Calif., and grandchildren Richard, Johnathan, Summer, Andrew and Christopher of Gardnerville and Michael, Kristy and Kathleen of Moreno Valley.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
