Griffith is Pac 10 Player of the Week

Douglas High graduate Chris Griffith joined UCLA teammate Tab Perry and Oregon's Keith Lewis as the Pac-10 Players of the Week in football.

Griffith played a key role in UCLA's 20-17 upset road victory at No. 25-ranked Alabama.

Griffith, a junior, connected on field goals of 30 and 45 yards and pinned Alabama deep in its own territory with a "pooch" punt from field goal position
