Obituary: Tina Marie Logan

A funeral for Tina Marie Logan, 37, a Carson City resident for the past 14 years and lifelong Nevada resident, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Carson Valley Christian Center in Minden.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Mrs. Logan died Sept. 2, 2001 at her home. She was born April 27, 1964, in Las Vegas to William Kissel and Gaylene Anita Wilson.

She graduated from Whittell High School in Zephyr Cove in 1982.

Mrs. Logan was a paralegal and worked for many local attorneys before starting her own business Valley Legal Support Services in 1998. She was active in the Carson City Chapter of Soroptomists International and a past member of the National Legal Secretary Association. She was a member of f the Carson Valley Christian Center in Minden.

She was also active in the Douglas County Chamber of Commerce and served as ambassador in 1998 and 1999. She was an instructor at WNCC, teaching law office management. She coached baseball for Carson Valley Little League and soccer with the AYSO. She was a former editor for the Nevada Supreme Court.

Among her survivors are her husband Keith of Carson City; father and stepmother William and Ann Kissel of Las Vegas; mother and stepfather Anita and Joseph Beachboard of Carson City; sons Kacy-Joe and Trevor, both of Carson City; brothers Wayne Kissel of Las Vegas and Joey Beachboard of Huntington Beach, Calif.; sisters Cathy Rodriguez of Las Vegas and Katie Portello of Las Vegas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Cemetery in Minden.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Family Support Council of Douglas County, 1255 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville 89410.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
