Obituary: John Andrew Warnken

John Andrew Warnken, 82, died July 10, 2001, in Coeur d Alene, Idaho, of a heart attack. He was born July 4, 1919.

He graduated from Carson High School in 1936, the first class to graduate from the "new high school."

Mr. Warnken served in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force for 20 years and then worked at McClellan Air Force Base in California for 20 years.

Among his survivors are three sisters, Blanche Wood of Massachusetts, Freda Pine of Blackbear, Idaho; and Mary Glines of Bountiful, Utah, and nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
