Alleviating homelessness, particularly among persons with brain disorders, will be the focus of a statewide Continuum of Care workshop, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 27, at the State Library and Archives.
As many as 100 service providers and community members from across the state are expected to attend the daylong session, which will feature opening remarks by Carlos Brandenburg, administrator of the Nevada Division of Mental Health and Development Services. An important component of the session will be an opportunity for participants to analyze gaps in the current service delivery system for their community.
