With our Nevada temperatures dipping into the teens in this area and below zero in the eastern portion of the state, many people are complaining about our frosty mornings.


Relax.

Here are the weather conditions as reported for Dec. 6 at some selected locations in the state of Alaska:


- Barrow: -11 degrees with a 14 MPH wind producing a wind chill of -52 degrees. And 24 hours of darkness.


- Deadhorse: -16 degrees with a 14 MPH wind producing a wind chill of -59 degrees. And 24 hours of darkness.


- Wainwright: -17 degrees with a 15 MPH wind producing a wind chill of -65 degrees. And 24 hours of darkness.


- Fairbanks: -23 degrees with no wind. Sunrise at 10:32 a.m. and sunset at 2:51 p.m.


- Kotezbue: 2 degrees with a 12 MPH wind producing a wind chill of -29 degrees. Sunrise at 12:15 noon and sunset at 3:06 p.m.
