Pheasant season is now open

The 1999 pheasant hunting season is now open in many of Nevada 17 counties.

That season is as follows:

- Nov. 6-14 in Lyon and Pershing counties. The bag limit in those two counties is two daily and four in possession.

- Nov. 6-21 in Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Storey, Washoe and White Pine Counties. The bag limit is two daily and four in possession.
