Obituary: Marion Webster Correll

A funeral for Marion Webster Correll, 86, a Carson City resident for the past four years, will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at FitzHenry's.

Mr. Correll died Oct. 18, 1999, at his residence. He was born Dec. 2, 1912, in Ripley, Okla., to Joshua E. and Florence A. Lane Correll.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Santa Maria, Calif. for 33 years and 47 years in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mr. Correll worked for more than 60 years and retired as a security officer at Vandenburg Air Force Base, Calif., in 1977. He served with the Civilian Conservation Corps in the early 1920s.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Among his survivors are his wife, Ruth J.. of Carson City; son, Daniel, of Lakeview, Mich.; daughters, Connie Kensinger, of Venice, Fla. and Kay Rumsey, of Dayton and one granddaughter.

Burial will be at Colorado Springs, Colo.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
