Obituary: Arvie Mae Frazier

A funeral for Arvie Mae Frazier, 87, a Gardnerville resident for the past 15 years, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Gardnerville.

Mrs. Frazier died Nov. 9, 1999, at Valley Meadows Living Center in Gardnerville. She was born May 5, 1912, in Sparks, Okla., to James and Mary Ferguson Durbin.

Before moving to Gardnerville, she lived in Montrose, Colo.

Mrs. Frazier loved country music and enjoyed being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Haskell Rich May 1, 1988; second husband, Owen Frazier, Nov. 16, 1993; daughter, Joy Bernice Miller; son, Ernest Gene Rich; two brothers and four sisters.

Among her survivors are her sons, Haskell Rich Jr., of Carson City, Robin Rich of Yreka, Calif. and Jerry Rich, of Pilot Hill, Calif.; daughters, Loydell Warkentin, of Shade Cove, Ore. and Darlene Tea of Gardnerville; sister, Evelyn of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Inurnment will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.

Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.

FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
