Obitiary: Owen J. Craugh

A funeral for Owen J. Craugh, 73, a Carson City resident for the past 20 years, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 Friday at FitzHenry's.

Mr. Craugh died Nov. 2, 1999, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Dec. 5, 1925, in New York City, N.Y., to Frank and Margaret Flanagan Craugh.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived in Los Angeles.

Mr. Craugh was a retired deputy sheriff with Los Angeles County. He enjoyed camping, traveling and cruises. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Frank.

Among his survivors are his wife, Nancy, sons, Owen, Patrick, Kevin and Scott and daughter, Susan Marshall, all of Carson City; sister, Patricia Craugh, of Vancouver, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
