A Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery with a deadly weapon after he reportedly hit a man several times on the side of the head with a dumbbell.
Zachary Andrew Panik, 25, was being held on $30,000 bail in the Carson City jail.
The victim, who received a cut on the side of his head, told deputies he was listening to music with Panik when he became drunk and irritated. While walking back to his apartment, a fight reportedly broke out over ownership of a compact disc.
