Kleine arrested on domestic battery charge

Scott Kleine, 29, of Carson City, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery with substantial bodily harm and probation violation after a hospitalized woman said he hit her and broke her jaw.

She told deputies the fight started after a discussion about missing keys. Kleine struck her, she struck him back and he hit her face, breaking her jaw.

According to the incident report, Kleine, as a condition of a previous judgment, was not to have contact with the woman.

The domestic battery charge carries a penalty of $15,000 bail while the probation violation charge has no bail eligibility.
