The Walking Shield American Indian Society is asking for public help in providing Christmas gifts to Carson City's native American children.
The organization needs new gifts for children between the ages of 1 month and 18 years. It is also seeking turkeys and canned goods that can be distributed for Christmas dinners to these needy families. The organization will pick up any donations through Dec. 19.
