Armed robbery suspect sought

Sheriff's Deputies are still looking for a man that robbed Grandma Hattie's restaurant at gunpoint Thursday night.

The man, described by witnesses as white, mid-40's and heavy set with a scar on his left hand, walked into the restaurant on South Carson Street at about 7:45 p.m. wearing a red stocking cap and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun.

He pointed the gun at an employee and told her to open the cash register and then took an undetermined amount of cash.

A search of the area did not find the suspect's whereabouts.
