Professional storyteller to perform at Douglas library today

Professional storyteller Cherry Jones will host the weekly library storytime.

Storytime is every Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the library meeting room for ages 3 and up. Children off-track are welcome. Jones will perform today and Aug. 23.

Jones is known for her Chautauqua presentations of Dr. Eliza Cook and Laura Ingalls Wilder. She has been instrumental in starting the Young Chautauqua program in Douglas County.
