Visitation for Sumi Koide Reidy, 81, a Carson City resident for the past 27 years, will be from 3-8 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Reidy died Dec. 18, 2000, at Tahoe Pacific Hospital in Sparks. She was born Feb. 20, 1919, in Tokyo, Japan.
She married Martin Reidy in 1955 at the embassy in Tokyo.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.
Mrs. Reidy worked for Frontier Travel for 14 years. She enjoyed gardening. She was a Buddhist.
Among her survivors are her husband Martin of Carson City; son Kristopher of Dallas, Texas and brothers and sisters in Yamanoshi, Japan.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
