Doris Mary Rose, 91, a Carson City resident for the past 28 years, died Dec. 8, 2000, at Carson Convalescent Center. She was born July 21, 1909, in Canada to John and Hilma Skrifvars Knickerbocker.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Folsom, Calif.
Mrs. Rose was a retired secretary for the school district.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin in 1972 in Folsom and son Ken Rose in 1989 in Carson City.
Among her survivors are her son Don of Carson City; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
No service will be held.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
