Carson defeated Reno 5-3 and 14-2 the Gold Rush 8-1 and 12-1. In the opener against Reno, Todd Hendrix was the winning pitcher and Adam Martin picked up the save. Aaron Henry and Matt Bowman each went 2-for-3 and Willie Bowman belted a home run for Carson.
In the second game against Reno, Jake Rasner and Adam Martin combined on a three-hitter. Carl Winter went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs and Martin, Ryan Henry, Bowman and Ryan Gonzalez were all 2-for-3.
In the opener against the Gold Rush, Ryan Henry and Eric Melendez combined on a one-hitter while Jon Teeter and Tony Teixeira each went 2-for-3.
In the final game against the Gold Rush, Ryan Buttner and Winter combined on a three-hitter and Winter also went 2-for-2 with three RBIs. Owen Brolsma was 2-for-2 with two doubles and two RBIs for Carson as well.
