Golf event scheduled

Historian Inn and Pasquales Two Guys From Italy will present their first golf tournament.

The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 at Carson Valley Golf Course. The registration fee is $69 per player.

Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams, men's and women's longest drive winners and men's and women's closest to the pin winners. There will also be $5,000 awarded for a hole-in-one and drawing prizes.
