20-30 sets Hawaiian night, art event

The Sierra Nevada Women’s 20-30 Club will hold two events in the next few weeks that will benefit the community.

n On March 24, a 7 p.m., the group’s second annual Hawaiian Guest Bartender Night will feature a limbo contest with a prize for the winner donated by Ryder Homes of Nevada Inc.

Proceeds will to help the Family Support Council with its first non-event, slated for this month.

The Guest Bartender Night will be held at the French Bar and offer numerous drink specials. Participants are welcome to wear Hawaiian attire.

— The group will hold its first Sierra Nevada 20-30 Art Show and Spaghetti Feed showcasing the art of Douglas County School District’s elementary students April 3, 6 p.m., at Douglas High School.

The show and dinner are billed as a “night of family fun,” and everyone is invited.
