20-30 club to hold garage sale
From the unusual to the practical, you will find an assortment of items at the Sierra Nevada 20-30 Club #730 Garage Sale on Saturday, April 8, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the corner of Highway 395 and County Road. The sale benefits the Leukemia and Lympoma Society of America.
Two members of the Sierra Nevada 20-30 Club will be running a marathon as part of the Leukemia Society’s Team in Training.
These two members have been training diligently since January 2000 to raise money to eradicate leukemia and other related cancers. They have logged many training miles in addition to strength training and cross-training.
They will be running the 26.2 mile marathon in San Diego on Sunday, June 4.
At the garage sale, there will be baby items and clothes, dishes, flatware, a refrigerator, microwave, a desk and clothing and many more miscellaneous items.
Sierra Nevada 20-30 Club #730 is an organization which provides young women 21 to 39 years of age opportunities for personal growth, friendship and leadership development while improving the quality of life for the special needs of children in our community.
“Someone’s trash could be your treasure. We are ready to sell you the items that you need and cant live without!” said member Kirstina Wulfing.
