The Lahontan dam has sprung a leak. In due course of time the seepage will all be taken care of, but for the meantime do not be alarmed. There is only 42,500 acre feet of water in the reservoir.

Bijou Pines is one of the latest subdivisions at Lake Tahoe and already about a third of the lots for summers homes have been sold. Lots are being sold for $250,000 but prices after July 1 are subject to change.

“Wonder Years” star Fred Savage, was in town Tuesday filming “The Wizard” at the Reid Mansion Bed and Breakfast. The crew and child actor seemed to enjoy the balmy Carson Valley weather and praised the support of the town.
