Carson Valley Art Association hosts Carson Valley Days show

Carson Valley Art Association is still accepting art for their annual Carson Valley Days Art Show Friday-Sunday at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Ave, in Minden. This non-judged show welcomes artists from Nevada, adjoining California counties, and high school students.

Art must be framed or gallery wrapped and wired to hang. No saw-tooth hangers, uni-frames, crafts, jewelry or copies of published works will be accepted.

Art is to be submitted 10:30 a.m.-4 p.m. on Thursday, and picked up Sunday, immediately following the show close at 3 p.m.

Registration fees are per entry for a maximum of three entries: members $5 each piece, nonmembers $8 each piece, high school students $5 each piece. Fees are non-refundable. No CVAA membership fees will be accepted at receiving.

The show opens to the public Friday at 9 a.m. and will run until 8 p.m. with a reception at 6 p.m. Doors are open from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Sunday.
