Tickets are on sale for the Suicide Prevention Network of Douglas County’s fourth annual “Gotta Dance” Fundraiser at the Douglas County Community & Senior Center.

The celebrity dancers and their instructors have already began practicing for the star dancing event March 18.

“If you would like to attend we would suggest you get your tickets now as they go fast,” Suicide Prevention Executive Director Debbie Posnien said.

Tickets are available through the dancers.

This year’s dancers include: J.P. Albert, Pat Bridges, Vinnie D’Ascoli, Drago Dimitri, A.J. Frels, Rachel Hamer, Debbie Humphrey/Maggert, Shele Pandl, Angela Wood and Woody Worthington. All of the dancers are dancing for dollars so they will ask for your support.

“‘Gotta Dance’ is our primary fundraiser and our principle source of funding for the year,” Posnien said. “Your financial contribution will allow us to continue our work in understanding and preventing suicide in our community through support, education and advocacy.”

Each dancer is competing for trophies based on the judge’s score and on monies raised called Dancing Dollars.

All money raised stay in Douglas County and are tax deductible.
