Singer Jesse Kalin Carson performs at Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park

Singer/songwriter Jesse Kalin Carson will perform with Scott Herman and Niall McGuiness 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park.
Carson plays Americana music using a loop pedal for guitar, flute and harmonica solos, featuring different guitar tunings. He was voted Lake Tahoe's best for five years. He's played at Cabo Wabo nightclub and Hard Rock Casino in Stateline, and has opened for numerous national acts, including REO Speed Wagon, Peter Frampton, Orleans, Al Stewart, and Ambrosia. He has also played with Dave Mason and John Mayer.
Tickets are $5, and are available in Gardnerville at Joyce's Fine Jewelry and Battle Born Wine, and are also available at dangberg.eventbrite.com. If available, tickets will also be sold at the gate, which opens at 5:30 p.m. Children 16 and younger are free and do not need a ticket.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets. Soft drinks, water and snacks will be available for purchase, or visitors can bring a picnic and their favorite beverage. Dogs are not permitted in the park.
The park is located at 1450 Highway 88, about ¼ mile north of the Carson Valley Animal Hospital. The park's full event schedule is at dangberghomeranch.org.
The park's Twilight Concert Series is sponsored by Bently Ranch, Soaring NV, The Record-Courier, Dr. James the Dentist, Joyce's Fine Jewelry, Douglas County, and the Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation. This concert also receives funding support from the Nevada Arts Council, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
