Registration open for Cow Pasture Golf
For 16 years, golfers have taken to the unusual pasture green of Baldo Giorgi in Antelope Valley as an act of charity.
Registration is now open for this year’s Antelope Valley Lions Club annual Cow Pasture Golf Tournament April 2.
The tournament includes 9 holes of golf in a shot-gun start style event.
Teams are chosen by a blind draw.
Prizes are awarded to the top three teams, with a raffle available.
Golfers will be served beer, soda and water while out on the course.
The Lions Club’s famous barbecue ribs will round out the day for lunch, after golf concludes.
The money raised will go toward the Antelope Valley Lions Club Scholarship Fund that benefits Coleville High School graduates in memory of Jackie Georgi.
Baldo Giorgi Country Club is located south of Topaz Lake on Highway 395 on Topaz Lane.
Cost for golfers is $30.
Lunch only tickets are $15.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., with golf beginning at 10 a.m.
