Knights of Columbus host mid-winter feast

The Gardnerville Knights of Columbus are now selling tickets for their Mid-Winter Fabulous Feast on Feb. 1 featuring either a cioppino or prime rib dinner.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a no-host bar serving cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. starting with a Basque salad followed by dinner.

The cioppino dinner is a seafood stew that includes shrimp, crab, clams, and white fish in a special Italian spiced tomato sauce, and will be served with French bread. The prime rib dinner includes potatoes and vegetables. A sherbet desert and coffee or tea completes either dinner selection.

Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased at the St. Gall Catholic Church office or after most weekend masses until Feb. 1.

The proceeds from this fundraiser supports men and women in the military, veterans, and related programs. More than $3,000 was donated from last year’s dinner proceeds.
