Manogue coach stepping down

Paul Mills, Bishop Manogue Catholic High School’s head football coach, will leave that position as of Dec. 1. Manogue ended its fall season two weeks ago with a 3-5 overall record, 1-3 in Sierra League play. The Miners dropped a 26-16 decision at Douglas on Oct. 18. One week before that, however, Manogue emerged as a 30-20 victor to hand Galena its first loss of the season (the Grizzlies are playing Reed in the region semifinals tonight).
