Tigers, Senators come down to wire

Very little has separated the Douglas and Carson high school boys basketball teams this season. Just consider the first meeting between these two rivals on Jan. 21 in Carson that was decided at the final buzzer in overtime on Alan Cohen’s tip-in that lifted the Senators to a heart-stopping 54-52 victory. And now, Carson (9-6) holds a one-game edge over Douglas in the race for third-place in the Sierra League standings as the rivals prepare to meet tonight in the regular season finale.
