Grant Dunkelman posted a fourth-place finish on Wednesday to set the pace for Douglas High School at the Tahoe Basin Ski League slalom race at Alpine Meadows.
Douglas had four top-25 finishers in the boys race and the Tigers wound up fourth in the combined team standings. The Tigers were fourth in the boys team standings and sixth in the girls race.
In addition to Dunkelman, who clocked a time of 1 minute, 29.57 seconds, Tyler Cottrill placed 12th (1:36.53), Danner Hillman 21st (1:53.33), Trent Degiovanni 24th (1:58.90), Bradley Loshbaugh 28th (2:04.76), Alexander Wesley 36th (2:25.06), Zach Ingrey 41st (2:39.90).
Tara Cottrill paced the Douglas girls with her 16th-place run of 1:54.22. Kate Hill placed 25th (2:11.92), Carolyn Wilber 26th (2:12.90), Tess Laub 31st (2:18.58), Katya Koepsel 32nd 2:21.37, Sage Pintler 35th (2:41.11) and Rachel Murphey 37th (2:45.92).
Three Douglas racers cracked the top 10 in the JV boys race, Sam Wilson placed fourth, Sam Brees seventh and Levi Costa 10th. Cole Pintler and Logan Kyle were 11th and 12th respectively while Callen Gilmartin finished 15th.
Duby Taylor and Shaelin Morefield placed third and fourth respectively in the JV girls race.
