Terada is all-region

Douglas High golf standout Koko Terada was announced this past week as a first-team all-league and all-region selection.

Terada placed second at the NIAA state tournament after losing a one-hole playoff to Katrina Prendergast of Spanish Springs. Prendergast was honored as the North’s Division I Player of the Year for a season in which she won the regional tournament individual title for the third year in a row.

Douglas senior Molly Jordan was named second-team all-league for Douglas. Jordan, a fourth-year veteran of the Tigers’ program, also received all-league recognition in 2012.

Wooster’s Staci Ludwig was named Sierra League Player of the Year, based on points accumulated during regular season matches.
