Wolves rally for key win over Bulldogs

The Coleville High volleyball team rallied for a critical 3-1 victory Tuesday night at home against Western Division IV rival Smith Valley. After dropping the first set, Coleville (10-2 league, 15-9 overall) battled back to win the match and remain tied for first-place with Virginia City in the league standings. Smith Valley dropped to 9-3 in league (14-9 overall). The game scores were 16-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-17. “Our team came out slow with an uncharacteristic 10 hitting errors in the first game,” Coleville coach Kyle Pattison said. “The next three games combined we had 12 hitting errors.” Stephanie Sandoval had …
