Big day for Koko

Douglas High junior Koko Terada rebounded from a tough round the day before to shoot a career-best 71 on Wednesday at Rosewood Lakes Golf Course to earn a share of second-place at the Northern Division I Region Girls Golf Championship. Terada, who opened with an 83 on Tuesday, shot 1-under par 71 over the 5,232-yard, par-72 layout and finished with a two-day total of 154 to tie Trae Jones of Spanish Springs for second-place. The top two teams and five individuals from non-qualifying teams qualified for the NIAA Division I state tournament next week in Las Vegas. This is the …
