Tiger track wraps up season at state

The Douglas High School track and field program wrapped up its season Saturday in Las Vegas at the NIAA State Championships.

Marshall McKown took third in the discus with a throw of 155-05.

Lauren Babbitt finished third in the high jump at 5-4.

The girls 4x400 team, made up of Olivia Abbott, Aspen Abbott, Lizzy Byrne and Lindsey Adams, took fourth with a time of 4:01.64

Olivia Abbott broke the school record in the 400, taking fifth with a time of 58.40 seconds, and Aspen Abbott finished eighth in the same event.

Colton Waggoner was sixth in the discus with a throw of 149-07. McKown was sixth in the shot put at 51-5.5.

Lindsey Adams finished sixth in both the 800 and 1,600.

Olivia Abbott finished seventh in the triple jump at 34-11.

Morgan Weston finished eighth in the girls discus with a throw of 104-10.
