Soon, freeway signs will post areas’ fatality stats

Starting today, drivers will see traffic-fatality statistics on digital freeway signs statewide. The plan was created to raise driver awareness because of the high number of traffic fatalities in 2012, a spokesman for the Nevada Department of Transportation said. There were 258.
