Baseball: Tigers fall to Manogue in league play

The Douglas baseball team stumbled into the first game of the toughest stretch of its season Tuesday afternoon, falling 6-2 at home to Manogue. Douglas stranded 10 baserunners, left the bases loaded three times and managed just four hits in the loss. “Manogue is a good team, there is no doubt about it,” Douglas coach Bruce Jacobsen said. “They are strong one through nine in their lineup.
