The chance to play golf on Lake Tahoe’s lakeside Edgewood Golf Course for half the regular price comes only every other year, and it sells out fast.
The St. Gall Holy Roll-In Classic No. 11 is May 6.
With only 144 entries to be sold, this event is expected to sell out early.
The $125 entry fee covers all green fees and includes a tri-tip and chicken barbecue lunch, two drink tickets, a souvenir golf shirt, cart, and range balls.
The tournament format is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at noon.
The prize for closest to the hole is four rounds of golf at various local golf courses. Carson Valley Inn has offered a $10,000 hole-in-one prize on Hole No. 17.
For players without a team, check the entry form to be assigned to one.
“This fundraiser offers fun for the participants while providing financial support to both the St. Gall parish and Gardnerville knights council for their various parish and community programs,” organizers said.
Entry forms are available from the tournament chairperson, Ron Bankofier at 782-9102 until the event sells out.
More information and forms are available online at http://www.saintgall.org/golftournament.htm.
Organizations or individuals can also donate $50 for a personalized sign located at one of the 18 holes. If interested contact Bankofier.
