JV Tigers lose against Reed in doubleheader at home

The Douglas High junior varsity softball team lost both ends of a doubleheader Saturday at home against Reed, 12-2 and 13-2.

The JV Tigers are now 18-8 overall and 12-6 in league play coming into their final series of the season this week against Carson. Douglas hosts Carson today in a 3:45 p.m. contest at Lampe Park.

Hunter Langford, Jordyn Pinochi and Genevieve Stodieck-Dreyer each had a hit in game one. Pinochi hit a double in game two.

Madi Peters pitched the distance in both games for Douglas. She allowed four hits in the opener and 10 hits in the second game.
