The R-C Morning Report for June 19

In addition to consolidation of the county’s Lake Tahoe water systems, commissioners will discuss an extension of litigation over the Riverwood Development Agreement to Feb. 20, 2015. The county sued over the agreement in 2010. Litigation between Riverwood Partners and Max Baer Productions is still ongoing. Commissioners meet 1:30 p.m. in Stateline today.

A job fair for the new Grocery Outlet is Wednesday, according to what I heard at the chamber meeting yesterday. I’ll publish the times as soon as I know them. They’re looking for 40 workers. The planned opening for the store in the former Scolari’s is July 29.

The high temperatures today and Friday will seem a little more like summer, which starts Saturday. Expect the high to hit 85 today, and 87 on Friday. According to the forecast it will be breezy again on Friday. Don’t be surprised if the red flag makes another appearance.
