On March 05, 2024. Dan (D W) Danielson. Passed away peacefully in his Minden home. He moved his family to Carson Valley in 1978.
After his time in the United States Air Force, he continued his 30 year career at United Airlines as a Lead mechanic, where he was awarded many letters of recognition for his work and completing some of the biggest projects the company had ever taken on to this day. He had a love for classic cars and enjoyed working on his '61 Lincoln Continental. He was a member of The Sons of Norway in Redding CA, a 30 year veteran of International Association of Mechanics and Aerospace Workers, and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. He enjoyed flying over the Carson Valley and numerous areas of California in his groups Cessna 182. His sense of humor, ability to learn and educate himself, and his attention to detail will be missed by those who knew him.
He is survived by his brother Phil Danielson of San Francisco, CA, daughter Katrina Ericson of Redding CA, daughter Victoria Wagner of CA. son Brian Danielson of Minden NV, and 3 grandchildren.
