The R-C Morning Report for Dec. 30

Stateline casinos reported a 2 percent drop in their gaming revenue during November 2013. The main source of Douglas County’s gaming revenue, the casinos took in $17.38 million during the month, down from $17.7 million in November 2012. The casinos are still running 2.32 percent ahead for the year. Carson Valley casinos, which include East Fork Township and Carson City, are ahead 7.45 percent at $8 million.

There was a 1.6 magnitude earthquake due west of Coleville 11 p.m. Sunday night down the valley from Heenan Lake. There was no report of damage.

Weather’s more of the same today with mostly sunny skies with a high temperature of 50 degrees and the wind southwest at 5 mph.
