Valley celebrates the Fourth of July

While a heat advisory is expected to expire tonight, that doesn’t mean it will be chilly on the Fourth of July. Between high temperatures in the upper 90s and the chance that Mother Nature will be launching her own fireworks, part of the fun on Thursday will be dodging the weather. Carson Valley’s parks will be busy with concerts, sporting events, and the arts during the day, while fireworks will be limited to big shows at Lake Tahoe and Carson City.
