Credit card scam leads to prison term

A 51-year-old Gardnerville Ranchos man was sent to prison Monday after a series of violations cost him probation. District Judge Michael Gibbons imposed a 36-month sentence against Gregg Dolgin, and gave him credit for 280 days in custody. The judge told Dolgin he sill owes $1,577 to the victim after he pleaded guilty to two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card. “Thank you for the opportunity,” Dolgin told Gibbons. “I did the best I could.
