DCSO seeks owners of stolen property

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is asking victims of unreported residential or vehicle burglaries to contact them about recovered items.

During investigation of a recent residential burglary ring, DCSO investigators discovered the suspects had stored numerous items of property.

Officers believe the items were stolen, however, much of the property discovered has yet to be identified as belonging to a victim.

Anyone who was the victim in the past six months is asked to contact DCSO investigations (775) 782-9905, and provide a description of the property that was stolen.

Items must be specifically described, for example, brand, model, color, serial number if known, and any distinguishing marks.
