The R-C Morning Report for Oct. 30

Douglas County Assessor Doug Sonnemann will be on The R-C Running Commentary today at 10:30 a.m. I’ll post a good explanation of what the assessor does with a separate item. Send questions to me at editor@recordcourier.com.

We’ll be following up today on the accident at Highway 395 and Industrial Way and the fire on Wildrose that happened within hours of each other on Tuesday. We’ll also see if there’s anything new with the car fire at Rocky Terrace on Sunday.

There’s a big old fog bank across Highway 395 near Airport Road. The one I passed through on Genoa Lane was pea soup thick, so be careful on the commute this morning.

Expect sunny skies and a high temperature around 54 today. It will get down below freezing at night.
