Drunken couch-surfer sentenced to drug court

A 28-year-old man who faced 10 years in prison for drunkenly breaking into the wrong house was ordered Tuesday to complete Western Nevada Regional Drug Court. Daniel Carrasco pleaded guilty to invasion of the home, a felony which carries a $10,000 fine in addition to the prison sentence. In exchange for his plea, the state agreed to recommend diversion and drug court. “Mr. Carrasco lives in the same neighborhood,” said prosecutor Erik Levin. “The facts indicate he was very intoxicated and forced his way into the wrong house.
