Police officer fired in accident that killed Ashley Browder

The Albuquerque Journal is reporting that the police officer involved in the Feb. 10 accident that killed Ashley Browder will be fired today. Police Sgt. Adam Casaus told investigators that he ran a red light while trying to catch up to a drunk driver. Lindsay Browder, 19, was traveling through a green light in a Honda sport utility vehicle when Casaus hit the passenger’s side where Ashley was sitting. Browder was pronounced dead at the scene.
