Investigation turns up stolen property

A Gardnerville woman is being held in Minden jail after she was arrested on counts of forgery, possession of stolen property and burglary.

Charlsie Duffy, 25, was taken into custody after detectives investigating a check forgery learned Duffy was allegedly manufacturing checks.

A search warrant was served at her home on North Court in Gardnerville, where several items allegedly stolen from local businesses were found.

Duffy is being held on $26,295 bail.
