Tahoe Writers Works at Shelby’s Book Shoppe

Tahoe Writers Works will present readings from “Edge, Volume 5” at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Shelby’s Book Shoppe will host the event at 88 Cups and more, 1663 Lucerne Street in the Minden Village.

The Tahoe Writers Works group meets twice a week to workshop fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Once a year they publish a book of submissions from writers and artists who live all around the United States and Canada.

A few of the performers are: Ben Arnold who writes, paints, teaches English and hosts BEtheCAUSE Poetry Slams and Open mics.

David Anderson resides in rural Nevada where he writes poems and short stories that have been published in magazines, journals and anthologies.

Andrea Wexelblatt,Poetry Editor for “Edge,” will be reading.

There will be a special reading by Janet Smith who has published a book entitled “All of a Sudden Nothing Happened.”
