Suspect Terrane performs in Minden
January 24, 2013
Suspect Terrane performs high energy acoustic Americana-style music 7:30 p.m. today at Flight Restaurant and Bar in Minden.
Pulling from musical influences that include bluegrass, jazz, folk, rock, and reggae, the band puts it all together in a fast-paced mix of original and classic tunes.
Born on a big front porch in the historic district of Carson City, band members include Brad Hart, Lynn Zonge, Michael Chambon, and Mike Suglia.
“The Suspects were drawn to each other through a mutual appreciation of genre-bending, improvisation, vocal harmonies, and having a lot of fun doing it,” Chambon said.
Suspect Terrane regularly plays at Plan:b Micro-Lounge in Carson City, and Flight Restaurant and Bar in Minden.
Other performances of Suspect Terrane include the Genoa Old Time Music Festival, the Bower’s Mansion Bluegrass Festival, the Americana Music Festival and The Lost Trail Lodge Music Festival.
The Band recently released their new CD, “Orogeny,” a collection of original songs and instrumentals, and the Suspects’ arrangements of folk and bluegrass classics.
